As new Medicaid work requirements take effect, thousands will be required to report. What happens when they can't find a program nearby? Or when forms get lost in the mail? Or when disabilities make rigid schedules impossible to meet?
Too many will lose their coverage. Not because they lacked effort—but because the system left them stranded.
